摘要：MM油田自1958年开始地震数据采集以来，采集技术从二维、常规三维发展到目前的高精度三维，按照勘探目标、地震仪器和采集方法等的不同，二维地震采集技术发展可分为单次覆盖采集阶段 (1958～1972年) 、多次覆盖采集阶段 (1973～1984年) 和高分辨率采集阶段 (1985年以后) ；三维地震采集技术发展可分为探索阶段（1966-1984）、发展阶段（1985-1992）、大规模应用阶段（1993～1999年）和高分辨率（二次）采集阶段（2000年以后）。回顾MM探区地震采集技术50年的发展历程，地震采集技术的每一次进步都带来了油田储量的快速增长，对地下地质情况的认识也由简单构造、复杂断块构造向复杂隐蔽性油气藏逐步深入，为MM油田的发展做出了巨大贡献，相信高密度三维地震和时移（四维）地震采集技术的不断完善与发展，必将为油田的勘探开发带来新的活力。

The seismic acquisition in MM Oilfield has developed from 2D, conventional 3D and 3D of high resolution since its start in 1958. Differentiated by exploration prospects, seismic appratus and acquisition methods, the 2D acquisition experienced these stages of single-coverage (1958-1972), multiple coverage (1973-1984) and high resolution acquisition (after 1985); and the 3D experienced a history of exploring (1966-1984), developing (1985-1992), large scale application (1993-1999) and high resolution acquisition (after 2000). The fifty years of seismic acquisition technology in MM exploration area shows that evry technical progress has resulted in large reserves increament, and the geological understanfings is from simple structure to complex fault block structure and further to subtle reservoir. This technology has made great contribution to the development of MM Oilfield and it is believed that the high density 3D seismic survying and time-elapse seismic acquisition will strongly energize the E&P in MM Oilfield.

首先对版主这种推之又敲的精神表示钦佩，这是做好翻译的基础！

1. 拼写错误，诚恳接受；
2. 第二处是否改成从句，第三处是否加development均属见仁见智，这与汉语写作一样；years of sth 似乎比 years' sth更常用。
3. rapid increase字面上与汉语吻合，但储量实际上是在那里的（英语中用original hydrocarbon in-place) ，所谓增长，实际上是我们把它找到了。我用reserves实际上也是权宜一下，OOIP多了，reserves一般也会增大。所以，当从rapid increase再回到汉语，就会发现，照字面翻译，并没有反映出字面的内涵。

言之有理啊，翻译的时候很容易就受汉语的误导了，照字面就逐字翻了而没有去考虑其内在的含义，再有就是语法都快忘光了，有的时候仅仅是凭语感，呵呵，看来还得多学习才是啊！

中国化很强的汉语是很难翻译的，总是不知该如何尽善尽美，中国人还动不动就爱说什么“增储上产”之类的，而人家老外并不这么说，因此做翻译真的要灵活呀，灵活的前提是首先要明白文者所要表达的意思！

唉。。。一个字，难！二个字，很难！三个字，还是难！

是啊，许多时候有些人写的汉语很烂，还不好说啥。就只好吃点草，给他们反馈出牛奶了，呵呵。
