Primary Functions:
• Integrated reservoir analysis of the PL19-3, PL19-9 and PL25-6 fields working with a team of geoscientists and engineers
• Reservoir simulation and forecasting for the Bohai Phase 2 Project
• Reservoir engineering support for well planning during the Bohai Phase 2 Project
• Well performance analysis to assess workovers and predict future performance of existing wells
Critical Skills:
• Reservoir Simulation – construction, history matching and forecasting using commercially available simulation software (such as Eclipse)
• Geo-Modeling - working knowledge and preferable applied use of geo-modeling software (such IRAP/RSM or Petrel)
• Classical Reservoir Engineering – experience with material balance, decline curve, pressure transient, MDT, and PVT analysis
• Integrated Studies – proven ability to integrate reservoir (PVT, SCAL, pressure), production, and geologic data to develop a dynamic reservoir description in producing fields, preferably waterflood developments
• Well Planning – support well planning efforts by evaluating well target options, predicting well performance for pump selection, providing support for operational drilling decisions, and defining drilling order
• University Graduate with a Petroleum or Chemical Engineering Degree

Minimum 5 years, preferably 10 years, of experience as a reservoir engineer or in a subsurface role working on field development and well planning
