careers@tiandienergy.comJob Description:We are seeking a senior Petrophysicist with 5-10 working experience to contribute to the area of Integrated Reservoir Description. The individual should be proficient at:
1. Core & log integration analysis: porosity permeability and oil saturation etc. determination
2. Commercial software to perform well petrophysics analysis, such as PowerLog (Petcom) and LOGIC (Shell) etc.
3. Loading data into petro physical, geological or engineering database
4. Reservoir characterization for both conventional and unconventional reservoir, such as carbonate, sand and shale
5. Working on a diverse range of geographies and development types, including a variety of offshore, deepwater, onshore, oil, gas and condensate scenarios of differing scale
6. Working in oil and gas field appraisal and development, to ensure the maximum recovery of hydrocarbons from producing reservoirs
7. New well drilling program design including tools selection and log quality control
8. Furthermore, rich experience with LWD or overseas working experience is highly preferred
Candidate Specification:The successful candidates should have the following experience or academic background:
1. University degree or equivalent education in Petrophysics /experience in major or independent oil & gas co. or major formation evaluation/oilfield service co.:
a. BS-7+ years working experience
b. MSc-5+years working experience
2. Open Hole Log Analysis experience
3. Experienced in log interpretation and core analysis
4. Rock Mechanics and formation damage study
5. Static Reservoir Description experience
6. Reservoir Uncertainty & Risk Management experience (Plus)
7. Petrophysics software competency: PowerLog/Logic etc.
