Echometer Company is offering an advanced 3-day Pressure Transient Seminar July 12-14 and a 3-day Advanced Dynamometer, Torque, and Power Seminar July 21-23. Class participants should bring their individual laptops to any seminar that they attend. Data collected using the Echometer Well Analyzer and TWM software will be evaluated throughout the seminar. New features of the software will be discussed at this seminar. Many of you have contributed to the development of this software. We appreciate your help. The seminars are offered free of charge, but attendance is limited because of meeting room size. An outline and schedule of these two seminars are attached. To enroll in the course, please return the enclosed registration card. Or, register by fax to 940/723-7507 or by E-mail to

Three-day Advanced Pressure Transient Seminar held in Wichita Falls, Texas on:
· July 12-14
This 3-day seminar provides expanded training on the analysis of Echometer Well Analyzer Pressure Transient data. Day 1 will cover using the Echometer Well Analyzer and Total Well Management, TWM, Software to acquire Acoustic Single Shot fluid levels and Multi-shot Pressure Transient Test. The class will observe the steps to setup the equipment at a well and conduct a pressure transient test. Analysis of acoustic traces to identify the liquid level echo and how to determine the distance to the liquid level will be presented. Day 2 will cover the basics of pressure transient analysis, including analysis methods and software. Data collected on different wells will be used to illustrate conventional analysis methods for determining permeability, well bore damage, and reservoir pressure. Day 3 will cover advanced analysis methods and test diagnostics, again illustrated with actual data. Class participants should bring their individual laptops. Knowledge gained from attending this seminar will increase the participant’s skill in 1) conducting pressure transient test, 2) using TWM to determine skin, permeability and static reservoir pressure, and 3) how to export TWM data and analyze using advanced pressure transient analysis methods. Application of these analysis techniques will aid the operator in identifying wells that have been damaged where stimulation of the well will increase profitability due to increased production. Registration form and seminar outline is attached.
Three-day Advanced Dynamometer, Torque, and Power Seminar held in Wichita Falls, Texas on:
· July 21-23
This 3-day seminar provides expanded training on analysis of Echometer Well Analyzer Dynamometer, Counter Balance Torque, and Power data. The seminar’s data analysis techniques will aid participants in evaluating their sucker rod pumping wells. Each day the general format of the seminar will consist of eight (8) one-hour mini-topic sessions. Each mini-topic includes a 30 minute presentation followed by the participant’s hands-on use of the TWM software to analyze data related to the primary topic of the presentation. Class participants should bring their individual laptops. Knowledge gained from attending this seminar will increase the participant’s skill in 1) analysis of operational problems of sucker rod lifted wells, 2) using TWM data to troubleshoot well problems, and 3) recommending corrective actions. Application of these analysis techniques to sucker rod lifted wells will increase profitability due to decreased repair cost and increased production. Registration form and seminar outline is attached.
