Abstract:
Seismic waveforms serve as a comprehensive representation of seismic data, closely reflecting underground information. Previous studies have successfully used seismic waveform characteristics to delineate sedimentary facies and predict reservoirs, demonstrating their value in identifying lithology variations and thin beds, which are the main target of high-resolution inversion. The essence of seismic inversion lies in geological interpretation of seismic data. The existing inversion methods use geological knowledge primarily in the construction of initial model, with minimal utilization for constraints throughout the inversion process.
