BUSINESS DEVELOPER-ECONOMIC AND COMMERCIAL ANALYST
we now seek business developer with competence within economic and commercial analysis. The position involves conducting economic and commercial analyses in support of field and project development scenarios for the total value chain.
The main tasks will be:
Perform economic and commercial analyses required to assess and support field and project development opportunities, including associated risks, upsides and sensitivities
Establish and maintain appropriate economic and commercial models for individual field and project development opportunities and portfolios of such opportunities
Active gathering and evaluation of economic and commercial data to facilitate and accelerate StatoilHydro’s business development in China
Identify the best business models within relevant fiscal and legal regime and commercial frameworks
Support negotiation teams in securing new positions
Establish and maintain data base and presentations on screening projects and new opportunities in China, including intelligence on the competition and the overall business environment
Maintain and improve work processes for early phase field and project evaluations
Survey and report KPIs related to StatoilHydro’s business development in China

Education:
University degree at MBA level. Higher university degree in one of the oil & gas related natural sciences could be considered, provided extensive experience as economic and commercial analyst has been obtained.
Experience:
5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably from early phase developments. Good understanding of Chinese fiscal and legal regime and commercial frameworks.
Personal qualities:
Proactive and result oriented
Analytical, and with in depth understanding of relevant business tools and software
Good knowledge of the oil & gas value chains
Having good communication skills and ability to work well within multi-functional teams
Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
Proven ability to work and deliver under time constrained conditions
