CNOOC purchase 33.3% undivided interest of shale gas project of Chesapeaker [复制链接]

News from JTP Jan  2011, this merger cost CNOOC 1.08 billion USD, and may be another 40 million for Eagle Ford shale project in southern Texas.

I checked the website of Chesapeaker, it was founded in 1989, only 10 employee and 50000 USD, it's amazing for them can expanded to the second largest natural gas producer of United States.

Now it has business developing area within "Barnett, Fayetteville, Haynesville, Marcellus and Bossier natural gas shale plays and in the Eagle Ford, Granite Wash, Niobrara and various other unconventional liquids-rich plays".
