Gulf Publishing Company and its publication World Oil welcomes research articles, white papers and??case studies involved in high-pressure high-temperature drilling and completions. In pursuit of reservoirs more than 15,000 feet below the Earth’s surface in conditions with temperatures reaching beyond 350oF and pressures beyond 20,000 psi, operators are confronted with unforeseen??challenges. The World Oil HPHT Drilling & Completions Technical Conference,??will be held??28-29 September 2011, in Houston, Texas. HPHT engineers, operators and service companies are encouraged to submit??abstracts for program consideration at this high-level, two-day technical conference. Selected presenters will have the opportunity to openly discuss new essential technologies being developed and used for drilling and completions in higher temperatures and higher pressures for the production of gas and oil.
The presentations??will include industry research and case profiles. Topics to be considered include (but are not limited to):

????Lessons learned Abstracts should be approximately 250 words in length and??include all authors, affiliations, pertinent contact information, and proposed speaker (who will present the paper). Presentations should be non-commercial in nature, with a technical focus that appeals to drilling engineers, drilling managers, producing or operating company personnel involved in operations and management of drilling and completion activities, as well as service companies and drilling contractors involved in advanced drilling technologies. |
