“Very scary. The crew and all on location hid in a ground doghouse that was anchored to the ground. One guy (Halliburton) went in the tool house, and they had to dig him out from under a bunch of equipment. As far as I know, he was OK. They found a dead woman at the edge of location, a man that was near death, and also another man that had a head injury and he was very confused. We do not know where these people came from. It is amazing the force that hit that rig. We had just TD the well (18,000' TVD with a 4500' lateral) and were getting ready to run casing. The well is quiet and the blind rams are closed.”
