The PhaseTester* portable multiphase periodic well testing equipment has been introduced into the system. It has enhanced operational flexibility and provided accurate phase flow rates. During the post cleanup operations, the PhaseTester led to the elimination ofgas flaring. The minimal pressure drop across the meter and its high pressure rating make it possible to flow the well effluents naturally through the sea line without separating the well effluent phases.The deployment of this multiphase flow meter in the system has resulted in a reduction in the gas flaring of about 60% during duration of the job.
