<专家介绍> ECLIPSE之父:Ian Cheshire 先生
他于1981年10月同John Appleyard和Jon Holmes共同成立ECL公司,开始ECLIPSE数值模拟软件的研发.
Ian Cheshire与John Appleyard于1983年发表的SPE文章<<嵌套因式分解法>> (SPE 12264)奠定了他在数值模拟界的地位.目前几乎所有的数值模拟软件都采用此解法.ECLIPSE软件在他的领导下成为业界标准数值模拟软件.
Ian Cheshire先生1963年到1966年间在NASA宇航中心做研究员.1966年到1981年间在英国原子能理论物理部做商业软件开发,开发PORES数值模拟软件.1981年投入ECLIPSE软件开发.1999年成为斯仑贝谢公司院士.
Ian Cheshire先生曾获得英国女王金奖.SPE荣誉会员金奖.
