Abstract: Gas drilling as continental strata in Sichuan Province to improve the
speed of the main drilling technology has gained popularity and application, but
because of the complexity of downhole drilling tool by alternating stress during
the gas drilling process, and there is no cooling effect of lubriscation fluid
medium, drilling fail frequently. To relieve the drilling fatigue damage in the
gas drilling process , the article on the new shock absorber works, finite
element analysis, structural design, technical parameters optimization in-depth
research, designed and developed a new generation of gas drilling with shock
absorber . Through the well test about the torque , drill time, hole deviation,
tools' testing and other factors, analysis the effect of using the tools, the results showed that: the tool can effectively prevent early
failure in gas drilling, slowing the drill vibration, extend the
service life of downhole drilling tools, gas drilling speed applications to enhance
the effect of drilling for gas drilling to prevent failure or fracture provides
a new solution.
