The simulation used 33 uniform blocks for the length, 17 nonuniform
blocks to span the width, and 5 uniform layers for the
thickness. The use of a nonuniform grid across the width of the
simulation allowed the horizontal well to be placed in a relatively
narrow block of 8-m width.
