Before submitting a paper proposal, please gather the following information: 在线投稿前，请收集好以下信息：

Paper Proposals should be formatted in four specific paragraphs to include: the Description of the material; the Application; the Results, Observations, and Conclusions; and lastly, the Significance of Subject Matter.

•    The paper proposal title should be standardized with each word beginning with capital letters.

•    Absolutely no graphics/tables should be included on the paper proposal.

•    SPE has a stated policy against use of commercial trade names, company logos, or text that is commercial in tone in the paper title, text or slides. Use of such terms will result in careful scrutiny by the Program Committee in evaluating abstracts and the presence of commercialism in the paper may result in it being withdrawn from the program.

Most standing committee appointments are made between June and August, while program committee appointments and local sections appoint volunteers throughout the year.
